Cornell’s Office of Community Relations held it’s ninth Regional Town-Gown Conference on April 9, titled “Child Care; Issues and Innovations.” It focused on the The Status of Child Care in New York State report released by ILR Buffalo Co-Lab in March.
Lisa McCabe from the Residential Child Care Project led a session with John Sipple, professor of Global Development at Cornell’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Their session focused on how local educational systems can come together to help address child-care needs in some areas.
A review of the conference, including McCabe and Sipple’s presentation, is on the Cornell Chronicle website.
